Thanks to motorway links, Boulogne-sur-Mer is :

·         1h30 from Lille (via the A16) ;

·         2h10 from Brussels (via the A16 and the E40) ;

·         2h15 from London (via the A16 and the Channel Tunnel) ;

·         2h30 from Paris (via the A26/A16).

Infrastructure Plan :  the A16-port link enables the port to be directly served from the motorway. 

High speed trains (TGV) link up with Lille in 1 hour, London in 1h10 (high speed train (TGV) and Eurostar), Brussels in 1h40 and Paris in 2 hours.

The international airports of Lille, Brussels and Roissy (Paris) are located at 150, 240 and 250 km respectively.

Since May 2004, the cross channel crossing between Boulogne-sur-Mer and Dover has been re-established.  The journey between the two ports takes 50 minutes, with five daily return crossings.
